We publish a weekly ad (look to your left) that includes a "Bar Tip", usually submitted by one of our patrons. Well, now you've got a chance to get in on the action. If we choose your submission we'll give you a free night of drinking at the lounge for being such a good wordsmith. Bar Tips should be short and snappy, perhaps a little pearl of wisdom or a funny observation about human nature. The kind of thing you might hear while sitting at a bar, chatting to your neighbors. Quotes and standard observations on life are acceptable, but preference is given for originality. So for an example of what not to submit; Terry A.'s submission of "Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house!!" claims the biscuit as perhaps the worse submission so far. Rules: Must be 21 or over to play (duh). Each winner will be contacted via email by the official sublounge judges. Winner will receive 8 sublounge drink tokens that can be used for beer or well. You don't have to use them all yourself, feel free to give them to your date/ friends, then you can impress them w/ your urbane wit. Prize must be claimed within one week of notification Monday through Thursday, bring your I.D. No substitutions. No whining. No purchase neccessary (obviously). Pathetic submissions may be ridiculed on this website (this will not get you any drink tokens tho'). All qouted phrases must be properly credited.
